I know your saying Oh my goodness those are so cute, & I’m saying I know! my Grandma Turner made these in 1956, a cookie jar, salt & pepper shakers & a creamer Grandma broke the sugar bowl years ago even before I received it… I have these displayed in my kitchen lighted cabinet… I just went around the house this morning taking pictures of things.

Good afternoon, wOw I’m so glad my day is almost over, worked this morning, went to the bank twice don’t ask? went to the grocery store and on my way home Subway, a little treat for hubby’s lunch tomorrow :) got home our recyclable bin was in the middle of the road, and had to unpack the groceries, oh I hate doing that and it seems like my hubby’s gone every time I get them, but he’s working so we can have them so… put everything away got Gus out and look what’s was on our front porch!

Good afternoon, hope all is well in blogland, I got alot done this morning, took Gus to the groomers went to the dollar store and got grocery's back home with Gus put grocery's away, well I'm sure you get the picture! and speaking of picture's, do you want to see my before & after picture's of my new crafting area? well do you? afew weeks ago I went out looking for the prefect old table for my area even in old door and then I would put legs on it, myself but no such luck :( so I have 6~6 foot tables for get together's and garage sales! looking forward to that! so a light went on in my head, and I thought hey way not use two of those tables, I already have them so way not right? and with a old table or door I wouldn't of had alot of room soooo!

yO... what a lazy day for me :) it's now 5:15pm and I'm still in my pj's and I'm staying in them why get dressed now!

i shouldn't say a lazy day i/we got alot done but at our own pace! good evening! i'm sO glad it's friday, yOu... i got alot done today, cards made Out,tissue holders made, and Christmas bulbs done for the lady's at Dennis's work they turned out pretty good being my first time making them... pictured below =)

i used some colorful paint's, just simply pour in your paint's 2or3 colors & shake them until there all covered & here's what you will get.

i think they turned out cute, i just put alittle paper in the bag & topped it with some cute paper and Merry Christmas! Those are some pretty lucky lady's i'd say! have a great week-end, i don't plan on posting saturday or sunday I'll be busy cleaning house. bye for now!

good afternoon, something happened to all of our snOw,it now 40 degrees & now it's raining! I'm trying not to let it get me down! but it sure looks like Christmas in the house, the tree is all done and the gifts are wrapped what more could you ask for!

our tree is much prettier in real life but I thought I better show you anyway's! I know you won't let me go on that one (right)... I'm showing you this gift for my neighbor because she doesn't look at my blog, I know she's missing out LOL...

I brought these after Christmas last year the plate was 29.99 & the glasses were 18.99 and I got them all for 12.00 bucks! thank you very much!

the cookies on top I brought this year! good thing. Oh yes I put this in the tree, it's hiding!

T.G.I.F & OnE LuCkY mAiLMaN... here i sit a cup of tea in one hand & my computer on my lap! & it's FrIdAy... Wow what a week if i felt like typing for about 2hrs i'd tell you all about it ! on a good note my ShOpping is almost all done, were going to get our tree in the morning & Dennis used he's new snow-thrower today yeah,life is good we have about 6 inches of snow and it sure is beautiful outside but very cold Brrr. Hope all is well in blogland & if your where it's cold hopefully your staying warm & toast'ie is that even a word? any who, do you put alittle something in the mailbox for your mail person? we do,we have a very nice mailman his name is Rick so we call him mailman Rick, we have the neighbors calling him that too! here comes mailman Rick. Yes I'm still here, were you wondering? Hmmm were you? I feel so out of the loop! I've been visiting some of you! and I've missed posting but I have been so darn busy... I started Christmas shopping today, yes I just started, I don't have many to buy for! Our tree isn't even up yet, I know hard to believe that Lanny doesn't have her tree up yet... were going to get a real tree this year Dennis & I have been together 27 yrs and this will be only our second time getting a real one, so I can't wait were going out this Saturday... My Mother in-law brought us a tree topper today at Lowe's they were half price...

I think it will look real nice, it goes nice in our house! now I will show you something I got at the bulls-eye boutique but I must tell you something first, are you sitting down? I have never read a book start to finish, yes I know but I'm a looker not a reader... so here's what Got, one for a client & one for me!

Rick Warren was on the today show this morning and I thought that would be a nice gift, don't you agree? I hope all is well and I'll post picture's of us getting our tree, the only thing I'm dreading is putting the light's on I need everything just so and I'm hard to please so... First let ME just SAY... i've been in alot of neat little ShOpS! but none as neat as this one! i started blogging about a year ago & i have no idea how i came across this one but i'm sure GLAD i did, this past summer Shawn & Dianne & myself took a day trip to Ann Arbor Michigan, it's about 2 1/2hrs from here but so worth the trip we mainly went just to go to this shop! if you have visited my blog before i'm sure you know what shOp i'm talking about! YAP you guessed it the ReD ShOeS... This past friday she had her open house we weren't able to go but she posted picture's for all to see, i wanted to share them with you & after you take the tour go on over there and look around, YOU won't be sorry...

Well hello, it's about 5:30pm and i must say i'm tired, YAP you heard it here! i've been cleaning our house for 3 days YAP you heard me 3 days, now do you know why i'm tired... i get like this every year around the holidays i want my house just so, the house is so clean you could lick the corner's wanta lick... and get this i'm 90 percent done getting the house ready for Christmas! I took some before & after pictures of the mantel.

I made my own template 4in X 5 1/4

cut out 4 squares...

take 2 squares lay them back to back...

take 2 more squares...

fold those 2 in half, and butt them up side by side

sew along all edges...

turn inside out...

and there you have it, a cute little cubbie for your tissues, great for a teachers gift or someone at church or whomever... I think I'll attach a cute note with mine saying Bless You! Have a great day and hope to see you soon... SiMpLe Me

Good Evening! wow what a Halloween, we had about 130 kids, and I'm here to say I'm glad it's over, we had alot of little ones but we also had alot of bigger kids too! and you know you have to give to them too! here are afew picture's from last night, hope you enjoy!

Good afternoon, boy is it a beautiful day here in Michigan the sun is shining, and it's just the right temp, life is good :0) I'm sitting here on a Tuesday afternoon relaxing and taking alittle time out for myself, my poor hubby has been at his new job for just over a week now and last week he got 13 1/2 hrs over time, yesterday he worked 12 hrs! and who knows what today will bring! what's up with that, but were not complaining... a couple of weeks ago Shawn and I went to a apple orchard and Thanks to Shawn she took some great picture's and I wanted to share them with you, being it's a apple orchard time of year!

Oh yes there was also Candy there! Hmmm...

And pumpkin's too!

A vintage Halloween, I remember when I was a little girl going to the five & dime store to get our Halloween costumes, and by the way that store is still there, I'm thinking there's not that many around anymore! our costumes even came in a box with a see threw top! I wonder if they still sell them like that, I'm thinking we may have to make a trip this week~end... Hmmm. I don't know why but lately I've really been into the vintage seen, YOU? I did pick~up this Cutie today, she's kind of folk art more then vintage but I fell in love, we named her witchy poo!

Please pass the salt & pepper! here's a fun way to dress-up your throw away salt & pepper shaker's , what you will need:

your favorite paper,pencil,ruler,a S & P sticker,double sided tape, and your shaker's I got mine at target 87 cents!

measure your shaker's...

make your line's on the back of your paper...

cut out and put your tape on one end...

line it up...

roll it up...

at the other end, another piece of tape...

before & after...

Good Morning, did you make any Ghost suckers? I hope so they are so much fun! Don't you think? If you didn't see the post it's right below this one, so watch it and you too can make them, fun for the kids and they can even take them to school for their Halloween treat! Well I have a question for all my gal pal's you know who you are! Well who doesn't like a giveaway, I know I do. I was thinking between 12 of us we could do a giveaway once a month that way we would only have to do one once a year each, if you yourself wanted to do more you could, so if it's your month for the giveaway we'll plan on the first Tuesday of every month and us other's could do our post and then tell our reader's about the great giveaway over on your blog/post this way it will introduce others to visit you!
