Well my hubby has another long day today so I decided to put our bags together for the trick or treater's  I'm thinking he won't feel like it when he gets home and it's only like 1 day away! Polka Dots & a Giveaway

Well if you remember afew weeks ago I opened up my Etsy shop! and it's been going well, I listed some vinyl polka dots in 3 different colors ! I received some picture of a room where there were used, very cute! I have more if you need them... here are a couple of pictures!

Robinette's Apple Orchard

Good afternoon, boy is it a beautiful day here in Michigan the sun is shining, and it's just the right temp,  life is good :0)  I'm sitting here on a Tuesday afternoon relaxing and taking alittle time out for myself, my poor hubby has been at his new job for just over a week now and last week he got 13 1/2 hrs over time, yesterday he worked 12 hrs! and who knows what today will bring! what's up with that, but were not complaining... a couple of weeks ago Shawn and I went to a apple orchard and Thanks to Shawn she took some great picture's and I wanted to share them with you, being it's a apple orchard time of year!        

Oh yes there was also Candy there! Hmmm...

And pumpkin's too! 

And My friend Shawn, she's so cute and takes great pictures! well I hope you enjoyed the apple orchard and I hope to see you later this week, I off to enjoy to cup of tea and wait for my hubby to call on his break! bye for now, Simply Me !

My friend Shawn over at eclectic whimsy design also did the design for Poppy & Ivy, so I know alittle about this shop, and I know I like it alot, I don't think I'll ever go there only because it's in Portland OR, but I go to her site and look around there! A vintage Halloween, I remember when I was a little girl going to the five & dime store to get our Halloween costumes, and by the way that store is still there, I'm thinking there's not that many around anymore! our costumes even came in a box with a see threw top! I wonder if they still sell them like that, I'm thinking we may have to make a trip this week~end... Hmmm. I don't know why but lately I've really been into the vintage seen, YOU? I did pick~up this Cutie today, she's kind of folk art more then vintage but I fell in love, we named her witchy poo! 

she's cute right? or is it just me? Hmmm... I also love these picture from Country Living Magazine and these are for sure vintage, enjoy!

Please pass the salt & pepper! here's a fun way to dress-up your throw away salt & pepper shaker's , what you will need:

your favorite paper,pencil,ruler,a S & P sticker,double sided tape, and your shaker's I got mine at target 87 cents!

measure your shaker's... 

make your line's on the back of your paper...

cut out and put your tape on one end...

line it up... 

roll it up... 

at the other end, another piece of tape...

before & after...

Good Morning, did you make any Ghost suckers? I hope so they are so much fun! Don't you think? If you didn't see the post it's right below this one, so watch it and you too can make them, fun for the kids and they can even take them to school for their Halloween treat! Well I have a question for all my gal pal's you know who you are! Well who doesn't like a giveaway, I know I do. I was thinking between 12 of us we could do a giveaway once a month that way we would only have to do one once a year each, if you yourself wanted to do more you could, so if it's your month for the giveaway we'll plan on the first Tuesday of every month and us other's could do our post and then tell our reader's about the great giveaway over on your blog/post this way it will introduce others to visit you! I will start off the first giveaway in January, if your in, let me know and I'll let you know when it's your month, remember it would be the first Tuesday of the month!  Hope this isn't too much to ask but I think it would be fun and everyone likes a giveaway! Good afternoon, it's about 3:45pm and here I sit in bed computer on my lap, pj's on for the night and getting ready to watch Ellen-Oprah, can't you just see me ? I switch back and forth between Ellen-Oprah, what a life... Hope all is well out in blogland, make sure to check back tomorrow for a video post on how to make ghost suckers! you'll need white chocolate disks, mini chocolate chips, and sucker sticks! just incase you want to make them after watching the post tomorrow! stock-up you'll love them, I make them every year!
